Uniformed & Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) Vote-By-Mail Ballots to Be Mailed for the 2024 General Election
Broward County, FL. (September 20, 2024) – Approximately 6,000 Vote-By-Mail ballots for the General Election will be sent to our UOCAVA Voters on September 21, 2024. In addition to registering to vote, UOCAVA Voters may request a Vote-By-Mail Ballot by using the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).
UOCAVA Voters are eligible U.S. citizens who reside outside the United States, and U.S. citizens who are active members of the U.S. Uniformed Services, Merchant Marine, and the commissioned corps of the Public Health Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, as well as their eligible family members.
Important Information for Returning UOCAVA Vote-By-Mail Ballots
- By Fax: UOCAVA Vote-By-Mail ballots can be returned by fax directly to the Supervisor of Elections office by 7:00 p.m. on November 5th.

- By Mail: UOCAVA Vote-by-Mail ballots can be received by the Supervisor’s Office up to 10 days after Election Day, if postmarked or dated by Election Day, November 5th.

- Ballots cannot be emailed to us.

- Voter Registration Deadline: Monday, October 7, 2024.
- Early Voting Days and Hours: October 21 - November 3, 2024, 7:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m.
- Last Day for Vote-By-Mail Requests: October 24, 2024
- Election Day: Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
