I joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections team in 2019. Before joining the Supervisor’s office, I served in Broward County’s Accounting Division and two distinguished public accounting firms. I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Florida International University. I am also a Certified Public Accountant, with 15+ years of accounting experience.

I am responsible for overseeing and managing the finances of the SOE organization, conducted in accordance with applicable accounting standards and practices, as well as with SOE Management’s overall objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, financial budgeting and planning (operating, capital, and election budgets), procurement and record keeping, and reporting the quantitative analysis of information to applicable internal and external parties.

It is important in my role to maximize the data available to the SOE Management Team, and to optimize best practices by establishing financial analysis, budgeting, policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. While handling the procurement and payroll processes for the organization’s daily operations and during the election cycles, it is our goal to maintain a fair and competitive environment for all staff, poll workers, and vendors.
