Mail ballots must be returned as follows:
1. By Mail – A Vote-By-Mail ballot may be returned via the USPS and must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
2. Dropped off at any Early Voting location during the hours of operation via secure drop box.
3. In person during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

4. By Voter's Designee – Limited to two ballots per election, only one of which may be from a voter who is not the spouse, parent, child, legal guardian, sibling, grand parent, grandchild, in-law parent and in-law sibling.
Is postage required when returning my ballot?
Postage is paid for you during all elections. A stamp is not required.
Is there a way to track my Vote-By-Mail ballot?
Yes! On the Supervisor of Elections website. If your voter record is protected, you will not be able to receive updates via “Ballottrax” however you can still click here to sign up for the USPS informed delivery feature.
- Whether you have a request on file
- Date the ballot was mailed to you
- Date the ballot was received by the Supervisor of Elections
- If the ballot was counted. If there was a signature deficiency, a link to the Cure
- Affidavit
Can I drop my ballot off at my precinct on Election Day?
No. Florida law does not allow this. If a voter waits until Election Day to submit their ballot, they can only drop it off at the Supervisor of Elections Office before 7:00 p.m.
