I joined the Supervisor of Elections Office in 2004 after obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in English from Florida A&M University. During my tenure, I have had the great privilege to serve as a Registration Clerk, Branch Office Manager, Precinct Coordinator, and now, Director of Election Day Operations. I am responsible for planning and directing the activities of the Election Day Operations Department, including: polling places, poll workers, and training under the direction of the Supervisor of Elections.

My various roles within this organization have afforded me the opportunity to see the electoral process from a few different perspectives. This allows me to think critically and to always consider how process changes affect all stakeholders. As a native of Fort Lauderdale, I am wholly committed to ensuring that my department and our entire SOE family provides responsible and effective service to every Broward County voter.

I fully revere the struggle of my ancestors to gain access to the ballot box, and I believe we must work collectively toward the goals of full voter participation and engagement. I am so grateful for the chance to participate in such a worthy endeavor!
