Preparing to Vote in the City of Fort Lauderdale Municipal Primary Election
Broward County, Florida (Thursday, December 28, 2017) – City of Fort Lauderdale voters should prepare themselves to participate in the first election of the 2018 Election cycle. Over 18,000 vote-by-mail ballots with pre-paid return postage have been sent out to date. The last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot is January 10th.
Election Day is Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Polls open from 7am-7pm. This election encompasses the City of Fort Lauderdale Municipal Primary races for Mayor and City Commission Districts 2, 3, & 4. Every eligible registered voter in Fort Lauderdale can vote in this election, regardless of political party affiliation.
