Broward County, Florida Acknowledging National Voter Registration Day, which has been designated nationwide as Tuesday, September 24, 2019, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections’ Office invites all Broward County residents to take part in this important day. Broward County election professionals encourage all Broward County residents to join in recognizing National Voter Registration Day in the following ways:  Register to vote through the Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office online, in person, or other official offices offering voter registration services;
 Check your voter status: update your address, party affiliation, name change and any other important information;
 Encourage friends and family to register to vote;
 Note upcoming elections and local candidates on your calendar;
 Learn more about the voting process in Broward County at www.browardsoe.org.
The Broward County Supervisor of Elections’ Office works every day to ensure citizens can exercise their right to vote conveniently, and receive timely, accurate election results.

Broward County, Florida – During the 2018 General Election, over 3,300 Vote-By-Mail ballots across Broward County were not counted because they arrived after Election Day. Over 1,200 were not signed as required by law and therefore, were not counted.

 Early Voting in Broward County Begins this Monday

 

Broward County, FL (October 19, 2018)—The Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office is prepared to be of service to voters at the 22 Early Voting Sites scheduled for the 2018 General Election. Instead of voting at their polling place or voting by mail, voters may take advantage of Early Voting which will take place from:

 

MONDAY, OCTOBER 22 THROUGH SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2018
7:00 A.M. TO 7:00 P.M.

FOR A TOTAL OF FOURTEEN DAYS

 

Voting Sites- A list of the 22 sites and hours is available on our website at www.browardsoe.org.  A list of the sites is also attached to this email. Broward County has expanded the early voting sites, dates, and times in an effort to better serve voters. Broward County voters may go to any of the Early Voting Sites to cast a vote. Voters with disabilities will be able to vote using a touchscreen machine located at each Early Voting site. 

 

Voters should take note that Florida law required voters to present picture ID with signature. Acceptable forms of ID are listed in our website at: www.browardsoe.org.

 

The tabulation and results of votes cast during Early Voting will be released after the polls close on Tuesday, November 6th, Election Day.  Results will be reported by precinct.

Important Voting Information for the 2018 General Election

 

Broward County, Florida (October 12, 2018) – In preparation for the 2018 General Election in Florida, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections is providing the following information for voter education purposes and for media to share with the community.

 

For this upcoming November 6th election, please remember that all registered voters can vote for any of the candidates of their preference who appear on their ballot regardless of party affiliation. 

 

One Sample Ballot was sent per household.  The Sample Ballot contains the candidates and amendments for the General Election and important election information that will help the voter prepare to vote.  Voters are asked to cross-reference the sample ballot with their Voter Information Card to identify their precinct’s assigned congressional, legislative, county commission and school board district numbers on the ballot in the upcoming election.

 

Voters should take note that Florida law required voters to present picture ID with signature at their early voting site or polling place.  Please visit our website at www.browardsoe.org for the list of acceptable forms of voter identifications.
